About Course
Safety first:
We follow Norwegian requirements and good practices. Everyone reports deviations, hazards and near misses directly – without looking for scapegoats. This is how we learn, correct and prevent injuries.
Right to absence – clear rules:
Sickness absence is the absence itself; sickness/medical certificates are the documentation. We approve absences according to the rules and can, if necessary, ask for an assessment by the company doctor for proper handling and pay.
Climate and clothing:
Norway has wide variations in weather. After a risk assessment, the employer must provide free, suitable and CE-marked protective clothing when “ordinary warm clothes” are not enough. Examples: underwear/wool, insulating mid-layer, windproof and waterproof outer jacket and trousers, cap/hat, gloves and warm safety shoes. We provide training, care and replacement if needed.
Language and Inclusion:
We use clear language and offer help with translation so that everyone understands procedures, reporting and protective equipment.
Environment and care:
We choose equipment that lasts a long time, repair and reuse when possible, and reduce waste and unnecessary transportation. Safe and orderly workplaces are good for people and the environment.
In short:
If you see something unsafe – let us know right away. If you need more clothing or accommodation – let us know. We’ll do the job safely, in all weathers, with care for each other and the environment.
