Lesson 2 – Laws & regulations in

  • The Work Environment Act and the six key regulations

  • CE marking, HSE cards and other regulatory requirements

  • Roles and responsibilities on the construction/site

Lesson 3 – Work accidents, liability & consequences

  • Most common causes of accidents and how to avoid them

  • Financial, legal and personal consequences

  • Procedures for reporting and investigation

Lesson 4 – Environment & nature conservation

  • Pollution Act, Nature Diversity Act, etc.

  • Management of spills, chemicals and exhaust gases

  • Requirements for pallets, packaging and environmental reporting

Lesson 5 – Safe use of work equipment

  • Safety features of the machine (emergency stop, brakes, lighting…)

  • Daily checks, expert inspection and maintenance

  • Personal protective equipment, working at height, manual lifting

  • Traffic rules, insurance and zero tolerance on alcohol/drugs

Lesson 6 – Dangerous goods & chemicals

  • ADR/RID classes (1-9) and marking during transport

  • Safety data sheets, written instructions and driver certificates

  • Checklist for reception, storage and loading

Practical elements (spread over the lessons)

  • Risk assessment (SJA) and internal control

  • Fire protection & first aid (CPR, stop bleeding)

  • Hands-on exercises with the equipment participants will actually operate
